Meet Molly

Photographer, Environmentalist & Yogi

I believe that love is something we should care for like our favorite plant. Give it sunlight, fresh air, and plenty of water — and let it grow.

I leaned into how I could integrate my love of environmental activism and photography. Partnering with One Tree Planted allows me to give autonomy and conscious awareness back to my subjects. I shoot you, you pick where you want your tree planted, it’s that simple.

Carbon sequestration takes greenhouse gases out of the atmosphere and mitigates global warming over time. By planting trees and shooting all over the world, I am able to track how much Carbon dioxide (CO2) my photos sequester over time. I’ll leave you with a visualization, that you can return to in your meditation practice whenever you feel called — somewhere on this planet, a tree sprouted on the same day you were born and has been growing alongside you ever since.

Ongoing Out-plant Projects:

WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT FUND

Promote gender equity by planting trees and creating a lasting social impact. Who run the world? GIRLS. Learn more here

UNITED STATES

From beloved redwood forests on the West Coast to sprawling maple groves in the Northeast, America’s forests are as unique as the nation itself. With forest fire recovery in the west, longleaf pine restoration in the southeast, and National Forest restoration from coast to coast, the United States projects are planting trees to recover ecosystems after natural disasters, restore habitat for biodiversity, stabilize vital watersheds, and more. FOREST FIRE RECOVERY

Reforestation is one of the best ways to restore lands that have been degraded by forest fires. Plant trees in British Columbia, Alberta, and other projects/places to help restore what has been lost. Learn more here

CARBON OFFSET

As part of One Tree Planted’s Nature-based Solutions program, they offer carbon offsets from new and existing projects. These offsets extend far beyond sequestering carbon, providing multi-generational co-benefits for nature, people, and biodiversity. Learn more here

ASIA

Planting trees across Asia is helping to restore the habitat of critically endangered species, including orangutans, tigers, and more than 1,700 species of birds. These projects create jobs and provide sustainable, long-term income for communities so people and forests can live harmoniously. Learn more here

BIODIVERSITY

Biodiversity, the variety of life on Earth in all forms and interactions, thrives in healthy habitats where nature can recover after ecological disturbance. Reforestation is essential for this process. Learn more here
